How to setup FTPES in FileZilla
FileZilla is a free FTP program offered for Windows and Mac. This article describes how to setup sFTP (FTP over SSH) with your account at InclusiveHost.
1 Download the free FileZilla program and install it: https://filezilla-project.org
2 In the top left hand menu, click File -> Site Manager.
3 Click "New Site" near the bottom left to bring up a new connection.
4 Enter your domain name in the "Host" field.
Leave the PORT area blank.
Under the Protocol drop-down menu, select "Require explicit FTP over TLS"
4. Select the "Logon Type" as Normal and enter your FTP username and password.
By default your cPanel username and password will work as an FTP account.
Any manually created FTP account in cPanel needs to include @yourdomain.com at the end of it. For example, if you manually created an FTP user within cPanel with the username "bob", your FTP username would be email@example.com.
5 You may receive an "Unknown Certificate" warning. This is normal. You may safely accept this certificate, and check the box "Always trust certificate in future settings" to avoid this from showing up in the future.
If you have any troubles with your FTPES connection, please open up a new ticket in your client area!
